Kroger Co. will open its first downtown store in a half-century in a little more than two weeks. Downtown Cincinnati-based Kroger will open the store at Court and Walnut streets across from its headquarters on Sept. 25. Kroger officials made the announcement on Monday morning while unveiling the signs outside the store.
