JPMorgan buys land at Metropolitan development in midtown for $2.9M

Levine Properties recently sold its undeveloped Metropolitan land in midtown to JPMorgan. Metropolitan Realty Company LP, affiliated with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.’s (NYSE: JPM) asset management division, purchased the 1.3-acre tract at 1200 Metropolitan Ave., for $2.9 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. The land sits at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and South Kings Drive on the southern edge of the mixed-use Metropolitan development, which includes office space, big-box and boutique retailers, restaurants and condos.
