Amazon.com Inc. said Monday it will hold its Amazon Career Day events on Sept. 17, with about 30,000 full- and part-time jobs available nationwide. The job fair events will be held in Arlington, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville and Seattle. The jobs will include corporate, tech and customer fulfillment jobs with entry-level, full-time and full-benefit opportunities, and pay at least $15 an hour. Amazon said it will offer skills training as part of its $700 million "Upskilling 2025" initiative. "These are jobs with highly competitive compensation and full-benefits from day one, as well as training opportunities to gain new skills in high-demand fields such as robotics and machine learning," said Chief Executive Jeff Bezos. the stock, which tacked on 0.4% in premarket trading, has rallied 22.1% year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 18.8%.
