Come Jan. 1, Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) will look a little different under the hood. Executives unveiled a new operating structure late Wednesday that will rebrand the company’s four business segments and shift some operations to match the market’s appetite for innovation. As a result, the Falls Church defense contractor is doing away with its innovation systems and tech services segments and is reorganizing operations into four business components: Aeronautics systems, which will be led by Janis Pamiljans, current president of aerospace systems, and will cover both manned and unmanned air systems Defense systems, which will be led by Mary Petryszyn, current general manager of land and avionics command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR).
