S&P Global Inc. said late Thursday its chief executive for S&P Dow Jones Indices, which oversees the S&P 500 index and others, will retire next year. In a statement, the company said that Alexander Matturri will remain CEO "until next year to help ensure a smooth transition at the division," and that his successor would be named "in due course." S&P Global shares were flat after hours, following a 0.8% rise to close the regular session at $256.73.
