HCA Healthcare Inc. marked the opening of its third freestanding ER this year with a new facility in the Millenia area of Orlando. The Nashville, Tennessee-based $46.68 billion health care provider (NYSE: HCA) will begin service on Sept. 18 inside its $10 million, 10,820-square-foot freestanding emergency room at 4056 Millenia Blvd. It has 11 beds and features CT scan, ultrasound and x-ray equipment, as well as an on-site laboratory. This ER grows HCA’s footprint in the Millenia area, which did not previously have a hospital or ER, Osceola Regional Medical Center CEO Davide Carbone told Orlando Business Journal.
