The parent company of Fred Meyer and QFC told customers they are not welcome to bring their guns to the stores. Kroger announced Wednesday that it is asking shoppers to not carry firearms at its locations. The Cincinnati-based retailer owns the Fred Meyer and QFC chains in Oregon and Washington.
