Funds in the Investment Association’s UK direct property sector generated an average annualised performance of 4.4 per cent over the three years to the end of June — down on the 7.6 per cent return the strategies chalked up over the previous three-year period, according to Morningstar data. Over one year, the average return delivered by UK direct property funds was 1.1 per cent.
